This month has been very wet and windy so residents have not been keen on trips out. We have kept up our activities programme with something for everyone. A new years quiz got our brains going after the Christmas excesses. The choir seems to be regaining enthusiasm, and the pantomime will soon be ready to be revealed, hopefully with the choir performing in the interval.

We have done crosswords and puzzles, manicures and flower arranging, play your cards right and bingo.

There was a resident's meeting to review Christmas. Some of the residents were excited to find out that we have managed to book Beamsley holiday centre near Skipton for a weekend in June. This is always much enjoyed by all who go.

Two residents have had big birthdays with their families taking over the activities room and the snug for a couple of hours while they enjoyed the birthday lunch that they brought.
