Pancake Day

Pancake day was celebrated with luxury pancakes. Suzi the cook had gone overboard with the number of different toppings that could be chosen, including marshmallows, nuts, jams, honey, strawberries and cream, and regular lemon and sugar. Lynne (carer) had her work cut out explaining all the options. There was a short exhibition of pancake tossing by managers Pat and Sue, who both, after many years of being mums and grandmas, were expert at this.

We celebrated Valentine's Day with a tea dance. We had a selection of 60's Golden Oldies to dance to, a bit of a singalong, and delicious scones with cream and jam and a cup of tea. There were plenty of heart shaped prizes, and we all had a good time.
