SPRINGFIELD HOUSE MORLEY

Springfield House is a small, family-run residential care home in Morley, Leeds, offering a warm and personal home for up to 22 elderly residents. Sue Hart, our proprietor, and manager Linzi lead a team of around 18 dedicated carers. We are rated Good by the Care Quality Commission.

Our carers are on hand day and night. Many hold NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualifications, Linzi our manager holds NVQ Level 4, and Sue is a trained registered nurse. A team leader is on duty every day to ensure care is consistently excellent.

From your first day, we write a personal care plan with you and your family. Each resident has a dedicated key worker who gets to know them well. Plans are reviewed monthly and revisited every six months, always with residents and families involved.

We arrange GP and hospital visits for residents, including transport and escorts where family cannot help. District nurses, visiting opticians and a chiropodist all visit Springfield House regularly, so residents rarely need to travel for routine appointments.

Residents are encouraged to bring their own furniture, pictures, bedding and belongings. We can put up shelves, change the wall colour, and arrange whatever makes your room feel truly yours. Staff always knock before entering.
