Summer 2020

This has been a very strange summer for us all. We have tried to keep life as normal and happy as we can for our residents, and they do seem to be quite contented. They can contact family and friends via phone, Skype and Facebook, and we help them with this. Also they have window visits whenever their families would like, where they are chatting on the phone and can see their family outside.

Meanwhile, though we are not able to go on our usual trips out and about, the residents have enjoyed many and varied activities.

We had a happy afternoon painting little plant pots and planting them up. Of course there were many afternoons sitting out in the sun and walking around the garden.

Every week we get some flowers and do flower arranging together. Of course there might be a little bit of gossip and tea as well.
