Christmas time

We made the best of this festive time at Springfield House. We had lots of cards and letters from various school children, including our nearest school, Asquith Primary. We had a lovely musical afternoon with our favourite duo, Fascinating Rhythms, wearing masks and visors and keeping their distance. We had quizzes and a little party. Staff wore Christmas clothes and were extra cheerful, and of course we were well trimmed up with glitter and lights, including some nice stained glass effect tree decorations, made by the residents. On Christmas Day we had a lovely meal, and a young music teacher played carols outside on her way to her own dinner.
